Meet Samantha, your photographer!

Hi, I'm Samantha and I am a happily married mother to three handsome boys, one beautiful daughter and one adorable chocolate lab puppy... Yes, I'm a bit partial!  On my time off, I love spending time with my crazy bunch... Camping and fishing is our thing!  When I'm not doing that I enjoy reading, cooking, running and catching up with friends. Oh and I can't forget to mention traveling!!

My love for photography started fairly young.  I remember always having a camera as a child and I took my very first class in high school back in 1997.  I would have to say though that my inspiration and passion really ignited with the birth of my first-born in 2007 after following him around with my camera constantly.  I fell in love with the art of the candid moments I captured of him, a lot of the time when he wasn't even aware the camera was on him.  It was then that I decided that I wanted to make a profession of it and I finally got my first professional camera following the birth of my second son in 2010.  I began taking classes, learning and studying everything I could about the art and of course practicing on my most adorable little subjects!  Finally two years after the birth of my daughter in 2014, I decided it was time to make the leap and here I am living my dream!  Last November, I began courses with the International Academy of Wedding Photographers to further my education and am currently working on my certificate.

What I love best about what I do is capturing those special "in the moment" moments and preserving them and making them into wonderful keepsakes that can be treasured for generations.  There is nothing quite like giving that gift to someone.  I love meeting all the different types of people, children and families that I do.  I really just love people!  I feel so blessed being able to do what I love and I only hope to grow as a photographer and never stop learning and perfecting my craft! It brings me so much joy and delivering beautiful photos to people, showing them how beautiful they are inside and out, being able to capture that with my lens... That is everything!
